The project, in a remote village in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, India, was conceptualized by Australian non-profit Playground Ideas in partnership with Indian NGO Shramik Bharti. Built Empathy collaborated with the Playground Ideas team on the sourcing, build, and final execution of the project, also taking up the role of liaising between the two organisations.

The playground focused on upcycling used tyres and adapting them into alternate methods of play, and was well-received and talked about in regional editions of national news outlets, both print and digital media.
